Dovetail blade front and fixed notch rear sights, with "DEANE & SON, 30, KING WILLIAM ST, LONDON BRIDGE" on the top strap and barrel, with light scroll and floral engraving and a hinged loading lever on the left side marked "JOSEPH BRAZIER'S PATENT No694" on the arm. "Crown/ V" and "crown/ GP" proofs are present between the chambers on the cylinder, with scroll engraving on the frame and trigger guard, checkered hammer and a smooth trigger. Checkered one piece walnut grip, with an engraved steel grip cap. Though the exact number of Brazier loading levers is unknown, the highest known number is around 900.

Condition: Excellent with 95% of the original blue finish, showing a smooth gray patina on the muzzle, back strap and high edges, areas of brown patina, and scattered handling marks. 90% case colors are present on the cylinder, with a silver patina on the hammer and edges. Mild spotting on the loading arm. Grip is excellent, with light pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
