[xiv], [296] pp; [ii]; [320] pp. Illustrated with frontis, and 24 engraved plates. 8vo, full original calf and spine labels, rubbed, hinges cracked, upper board of vol 2. starting, browning to endpapers, the plates are present but appear to have been removed from a French edition and pasted in. An interesting work on Egyptian, Greek and Roman symbols.
