<B>De Beukelaer Disney Album, Group of 3 (circa 1930s-50s).</B></I> European cookie manufacture De Beukelaer published these colorful chromograph albums, to hold the little cards, or ""chromies,"" placed inside packages of chocolate biscuits (cookies). They are similar to British cigarette cards, with most cards measuring 2 2/3"" x 2"" (some are larger). The album tells the story, based on a classic Disney animated feature film; kids would then collect the cards and paste them in as illustrations. Included here are three albums: Snow White, Pinocchio, and Cinderella. Each album contains the full set of chromies (100 each in the first two, 120 in the last), with text in French.
