Davy Jones was born on December 30, 1945 in Manchester, England. He died on February 29, 2012, in Stuart, Florida. He was a member of the Monkees. Before the Monkees, he released a solo album: David Jones (1965).
The Monkees released 13 albums from 1966 to 2018, and 16 singles, including: Last Train to Clarksville (1967, #1), I’m a Believer (1968, #1), Pleasant Valley Sunday (1967, #3), A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You (1967, #1), Valleri (1968, #1), and Daydream Believer (1967, #3). They were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2007 and the New England Music Hall of Fame in 2024.
