Stage actor (1866–1951) who rose to stardom under David Belasco, best known for his starring roles in The Auctioneer and The Music Master. Vintage matte-finish 5 x 7 photo affixed to its original 8.25 x 11 Marceau Studio mount, signed on the mount in fountain pen, “Wishing your fair much success—very sincerely yours, David Warfield, 1909.” In very good condition, with a crease to upper left corner and ding to top of the mount, and silvering to dark areas of the image.
