Collection of three letters, all sent to screenwriter Carey Wilson, whose work included Ben-Hur (1925) and Mutiny on the Bounty (1935). Two are from Adolph Zukor, dated 1953 and 1961, and thank him for recently received birthday wishes and for his work on an awards dinner, respectively; the third is from David O. Selznick (signed “David”), dated 1954, regarding a job. In part: “I feel very bad that things haven’t yet shaped up where I can offer you anything specific. I am holding my television plans and offers (some of them quite exciting) in abeyance until I see how this present big show on which I am working comes out.” In overall very good to fine condition. Zukor’s letters are accompanied by the original mailing envelopes.
