"Wonders of Africa The Life-History of Doctor Livingstone" is an account of his extensive and important African travels, 19th-century expeditions and discoveries in South and Central Africa. With a collection of diary entries, voyage reports, and letters, this book contains information on the explorations of Livingstone and Henry Stanley, along with the explorations of Heinrich Barth, John Speke, Samuel Baker, and Paul Du Chaillu. This book also contains numerous full-page engravings, portraits, and views of big game animals. This rust-coloured gold gilt stamped hardcover is in fair condition, scuffing exhibited to cover edges, loose spine. Front cover gold gilt is still bright, spine gilt fading.
