State of New Jersey banknote printed by Hall and Sellers, no. 1026, 3.5 x 2.75, June 9, 1780, signed on one side by David Brearley, “D. Brearley,” and Philemon Dickinson, “P. Dickinson,” and signed on the opposite side by Joseph Borden, “Jos. Borden.” In fine condition. All three signers were important figures of the American Revolution: Brearley was one of New Jersey’s signers of the Constitution; Dickinson was an accomplished militia officer and delegate to the Continental Congress; and Borden was a colonel and quartermaster of the state militia.
