Vintage yellow 2.5 x 4 concert ticket for a David Bowie concert at Adam Smith Hall in Kirkcaldy, Scotland on November 14, 1969, signed and inscribed on the reverse in blue ballpoint, “To Tina, from, David Bowie.” In very good condition, with moderately heavy overall creasing.

Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks and by a letter of provenance from the original recipient: “I was 14 and living in Glenrothes, Fife. A new girl started at my school who was much more mature and savvier than me and we became friends. She suggested that we go to a concert she had heard about to be held in nearby Kirkcaldy. It was David Bowie, who was not well known to me at the time. It was my first ever live music concert. I remember it being a brilliant experience. It was a small venue and we had good seats. I did recognize one of the songs. Space Oddity! At the end of the show David sat on the edge of the stage to sign autographs so my friend and I joined several others to get ours. I used my ticket as it was the only thing available to me. Little did I know what a superstar he would become or the potential value of his autograph!”
