‘John, I’m Only Dancin'—David Bowie: A Look at the 70's, a promotional album David Bowie recorded for the King Biscuit Flower Hour and D.I.R. Radio Network, signed on the front of the blank album sleeve in black felt tip, "Bowie, 79." In fine condition. The three records are included. Accompanied by copies of D.I.R. documents for the recording of '‘John, I’m Only Dancin'—David Bowie's Retrospective of the Seventies,' and by a letter of authenticity from David Bowie autograph expert Andrew Peters. A decidedly early and uncommon signed Bowie album.

In December 1979, Bowie recorded an hour-long radio special to promote the ‘John, I’m Only Dancing (Again)’ single. The show was broadcast on January 20, 1980, by the syndicated U.S. radio show ‘King Biscuit Flower Hour,' as 'David Bowie – A Look at the Seventies.' During the show Bowie played a number of songs from the 1970s, including ‘Space Oddity’, ‘Instant Karma!’ (John Lennon), ‘Deborah’ (Tyrannosaurus Rex), ‘Autobahn’ (Kraftwerk), ‘I Feel Love’ (Donna Summer), ‘John, I’m Only Dancing,' and more.
