ALS signed “D. Ben-Gurion,” one page, lightly-lined, 4.5 x 7, 1970. A thank you letter to Julius Klein of Chicago. In full: “I am most grateful to you for sending me a copy of your letter about President Pompidou’s dinner. I share your view about the possibility and hope of the French government’s return to her traditional policy. But when?” Double matted with an oversized photo of Ben-Gurion speaking to a crowd, circa 1948, and framed to an overall size of 26.75 x 17.25. In fine condition, with a small piece of tape adhering to the top edge and a chip to one corner completely matted out, creating a flaw-free display.
