The collection includes six original hand painted and drawn works of art by renowned artist, Dave Powell. Dave Powell (born in Kalispell, Montana) is son to one of the most well-known Cowboy artist, Ace Powell and his wife and also a well renowned artist Nancy McLaughlin Powell. Dave also worked with Bob Scriver on creating the Lewis and Clark Sculpture in Fort Benton, Montana. The collection includes four miniature paintings (showing excellent subject matter such as an Indian Warrior on Horseback, Frontiersman on Horseback, "Road Agent" Stage Coach Driver with Shotgun, and a Great American Bison Buffalo after an Indian kill), a two scene painting with Indian Warriors, and a rare ledger style pictorial drawing showing two Indian Warriors. These are all hand signed by the artist Dave Powell and show his excellent style. Dave Powell's art has sold at auction for as much as $24,000. Ledger drawing frame is 14"x11". Other piece in the silver frame is 12.5"x10.25". The two smallest are each 3.75"x4.75" and the larger of the miniatures (2) are each 5"x7".
