Original mixed media artwork on scavenged wood entitled Slave Cylinder by Chicano Neo-Pop Expressionist duo Armando Lerma and Carlos Ramirez, aka The Date Farmers. Originally exhibited at Ace Gallery in LA, this artwork combines found ephemera set on top of an alien figure that reflects Lerma and Ramirez's socio-political and cultural otherness faced by Mexicans and Chicanos residing in the US.
