<B>Dark Victory (Warner Brothers, 1939).</B></I> French Grande (47" X 63"). Bette Davis gives a bravura performance in one of her best films as a rich socialite given six months to live, forced to decide what she will do with the rest of her short life. This large pre-war French poster is very rare as most paper was recycled or destroyed during, and right after, World War II. There are pin holes in the corners, fold wear with separations, minor edge chipping and a chip in the top vertical fold. All has been expertly and beautifully restored and the poster has been placed on linen, giving it a very nice appearance.
