<B>"Dark Shadows" Prop Mantle Clock.</B></I> The Gothic soap opera <I>Dark Shadows,</B></I> took a direction (at the time) by introducing supernatural elements six months after it began. The series became hugely popular when, a year into its run, vampire Barnabas Collins (Jonathan Frid) became a lead character. The show aired on weekdays from 1966-71, for a whopping 1,225 episodes. This ornate Victorian-style mantle clock -- still in working condition -- was used as a background prop on the series. It has a hinged glass that opens to allow the hands to be set, and the chime still functions. The clock is in overall Very Fine condition with some mild wear. <I> Accompanied by COA from L.A.
