Dante's Peak Charles Hallahan Death Scene Head Movie Props
Charles Hallahan's head from Dante's Peak. This head was used in his death scene where his character dies while being swept away by the mud slide. Since Mr. Hallahan did not want to get swept away or die in real life, they made a miniature version of him to use during the filming of this scene. During the clean up, this head was put in storage since the filming ended. Also included with this is a letter of provenance, a colored storyboard page from this scene and a note from the set on Dante's Peak stationary. From David Defino's collection who is an Academy Award winning effects artist and Emmy winning lighting technician. He was the foreman at Gene Young Effects and worked on many amazing, iconic movies and commercials as well as special government projects and private industry and museums. Upon Gene Young's death, he inherited memorabilia from the studio. (3x2)
