Clergyman (1762–1864) who entered the Continental Army at age 16; one of just seven Revolutionary War veterans who survived into the age of photography. He was named Chaplain of the House of Representatives at age 94. Original 2.5 x 4 carte-de-visite portrait by D. Denison of Albany, signed on the reverse in black ink, “Daniel Waldo, Aged 100 years, Born Sept. 10th, 1762.” In fine condition. One of very few signed photos of Revolutionary War veterans extant.
