<B>Daniel R. Horne - Dungeons and Dragons Painting Original Art (undated).</B></I> Daniel Horne often sculpts his fantasy figures and even makes their weapons and costumes before he paints them. He has described his approach as, "very old school." Horne's career as an illustrator has spanned over 25 years, and he has painted over 400 book covers for almost every major publisher. His children’s book, <B>Young Merlin</B></I>, won the 1991 Children’s Choice award for best illustrated book. Horne has also painted covers for <B>Dragon Magazine </B></I>and TSR.
