27" x 34" oval painting in a 34" x 42" gilt frame, circa 1868, Daniel Huntington (1816-1905) famous for his portraits. "Lady Bountiful" Mary Emery (1844-1927) considered one of the richest women of her time. This painting was from the Delano Estate (Delano Township, PA) Notable Delano's include FDR, Calvin Coolidge and Ulysses S. Grant. Painting in great condition. Frame has some loss.
