Made of wood with a resin arrow head and hand painted fletching. Broken on set.
Original arrow used in the Kevin Costner directed western film 'Dances with Wolves' (1990), which tells the story of Union Army Lieutenant John J. Dunbar (Costner), who travels to the American frontier to find a military post, and who meets a group of Lakota.
The film was nominated for 12 Academy Awards at the 63rd Academy Awards.
