Cfr. ill. € 300/400 Uncommon British reprint of a Basel edition of the famous ill. of Holbein (1493-1543). The accompanying texts are in French and in English. The fine engr. were made by David Deuchar (1743-1808) and edited by James Bonar (1757-1821). Ill. with 51 engraved plates, including a portrait of Holbein by Christian von Mechel (1737-1818).
