For nearly 50 years, DeCarlo was the main artist of the Riverdale gang, and was also the artist who created Josie (later Josie & the Pussycats) and Sabrina the Teenage Witch. This is an excellent example of DeCarlo's work, fully demonstrating his facility with drawing beautiful women. Measuring approximately 13.75" x 19" overall, the only flaw is the missing title stat in the first panel. Although DeCarlo's later art tends to be somewhat more plentiful, early examples such as this one are becoming more and more rare, as they disappear forever into private collections, never to re-emerge. Don't let this one pass you by! <B>Estimate: $100-up</B> </FONT></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><BR><!--<a name="PricesRealized"></a> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" bgcolor="#000000"> <tr> <td width="100%"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3"> <tr> <td width="100%" bgcolor="#79735C"> <a name="PR"> <font face="arial" size="3" color="#FFFFFF"> <b>Previous Prices from Heritage Auctions</b> </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#F6F6ED"> No Prior Data Recorded </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <font face="arial" size="1""> PLEASE NOTE: All prices realized reflect the final hammer price PLUS the buyer's premium in auctions that charge a buyer's premium. On occasion eBay live bid software cannot keep up with the pace of the auctions where 4-5 lots per minute can hammer down, so we recommend that you place a realistic absentee bid now as insurance to avoid disappointment. Also please note that all Heritage/CAA lots purchased through eBay Live carry a 20% Buyer's Premium. Please make sure you read the Terms and Conditions.
