<B>Dale Wasserman Signed Agreement for "Man of La Mancha".</B></I> A signature page regarding the contractual obligations of Wasserman Management Corp. to the production of the film <I>Man of La Mancha,</B></I> signed by Dale Wasserman. Based on Wasserman's original Broadway musical, and his 1959 television play, the film version would be nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Song Score and Adaptation in 1973. Wasserman, the author of both the musical (with Mitch Leigh as composer) and the television play, wrote the screenplay for the film, and though he may have had his doubts about taking on the film version of his perennial Broadway favorite (as illustrated in his book <I>The Impossible Musical</B></I>), he signed the agreement in blue ballpoint along the signature line.
