WWII autograph letter signed by Baludow Seja, a prisoner in the Dachau concentration camp. Letter is stamped with the date of 11 August 1940, and Seja's information is written at the top of the letter indicating 5 March 1920 as his birthday, and further ''#8686 Bloc 9...'' Slightly disjointed letter written in German (as required by camp rules) translates to, ''Dear Parents and Brothers and Sisters, I am letting you know that I'm healthy and that I hope the same for you. Thank you for everything you have done for me. I have received the money order from you and Uncle. Thank you kindly. My dears, I still didn't get the letter from my uncle. Please tell Uncle that I got the money and in the future he should use the same address as for the letter. Say hello to Urbanski and Alos that they will write to me. Please give him my address. My dears I received your letter with much joy. You write that you have bought me a suit but I don't know when I can wear it. Please write longer letters so I have more news from you. No news here. Kind regards and kisses for you my dear parents and sisters and brothers. Your son and brother. Please write soon...'' Dachau was the first and longest-running concentration camp of the Third Reich. Letter runs 3pp. on delicate standard issue card-style Dachau stationery, measuring approximately 5'' x 8''. Toning and creasing, else near fine.
