DWM Royal Portuguese Contract Model 1906 Luger Pistol
This is a DWM Model 1906 contract pistol with the "crown/M2" monogram over the chamber, the personal mark of King Manuel II of Portugal, elevated in 1908 and deposed in 1910. In addition to the crest it has three "circled triangle" army acceptance marks, on the left side of the receiver, the underside of the barrel, and the rear of the frame. The extractor is marked "CARREGADA", and the lower safety marking is milled off. Standard DWM monogram on the toggle and matching numbers on the latch, side plate, trigger, barrel extension, toggle links and breechblock. With grip safety and triangle proofed wood base magazine.

Condition: Fine, with 60% of the faded blue finish, showing a mixed gray and brown patina on the grip straps, bright wear along the edges and scattered spotting and minor handling marks. Grips are good, with moderate wear light pressure dents and some flattening of the checkering. Mechanically fine.
