DWM Model 1920 Commercial Luger Pistol in Scarce 9 mm Luger with Holster

This is an exceptionally nice late 1920 era Commercial Luger chambered in 9 mm parabellum caliber. (Nearly all 1920 commercials were chambered for the 7.65 mm Luger Commercial auto caliber due to the Treaty of Versailles military caliber restriction placed on Germany after their surrender in World War I.) It has the standard blank chamber area with the "DWM" logo on the first toggle. It has the Commercial style serial number placement with the full number and letter code (8254u) stamped on the front of the frame with (8254) stamped on the underside of the barrel. The underside of the barrel and left side of the barrel extension are stamped with the "Crown/N" commercial proofs, with no export markings. It has the standard safety and loaded markings and is currently fitted with the original early post war style, light colored walnut checkered grips. It is complete with an early post-WWI commercial leather holster and two original nickel plated magazines with unmarked wooden bases.
