Blade front and two position rear sights, with the "DWM" logo on the toggle and "Gesichert" stamped on the upper safety position, making this one of the First Issue Navy Lugers that were retrofitted by Navy armorers to have their safeties function similar to the Lugers being issued to the Army. "Crown/M" Navy proofs are present on the barrel and extension, with "crown" firing proofs on the barrel, extension and breech. The back strap is marked "II.T.D./2533" just below the safety, indicating issue to the 2nd Torpedo Division at Wilhelmshaven, which was established in October of 1906. Straw finished small parts, with checkered grips and a nickel finished magazine with concentric circle decorated wood base.
