Fixed sights, with the "1914" date on the chamber and "DWM" on the toggle. The barrel extension has a set of three "crown/ letter" proofs next to the Imperial eagle firing proof on the right, with the firing proof repeated on the barrel and breechblock. Matching numbers are present on the barrel, extension and frame, with matching partial numbers on the takedown latch, side plate, trigger, sear, safety, grips, toggle links and extractor. Checkered hardwood grips, with a nickel finished wood based magazine. The front strap is marked "F.22/91", a post-World War One police marking associated with Fuerstenfeldbruck. Both a town and a district in Bavaria, Fuerstenfeldbruck was the home of the Luftwaffe's main pilot training center, which served as a jet aircraft base for the U.S. Army Air Force/U.S. Air Force after World War II.

Fine, with 70% of the blue finish, showing a gray patina and pitting along the high edges, a few scattered areas of brown patina, and mild handling marks. 30% straw finish is present on the small parts. Grips are very good, with some flat spots and dents. Mechanically fine.
