DWM 1908 Navy Luger with Holster
This is a reworked example of a DWM Navy Luger, with the standardized "GESICHERT" marking on the upper safety position. Frame is a long variant like the 1906's, but there is no provision for a grip safety, like the 1908's. Also has the correct blank chamber, and the left side of the barrel extension is marked with a single "Crown" proof followed by two "Crown/M" German Navy proof marks. The barrel is stamped with a "Crown/M" proof on the bottom, and a "Crown" proof on the left side along with the matching serial number and letter suffix. A "Crown" proof is stamped on the left side of the breech block and the front toggle link is marked with the DWM scroll. Fitted with a six-inch barrel and two-position Navy adjustable rear sight, with the backstrap marked "W.K./ 11392". The full serial number is stamped on the front of the frame and the underside of the barrel, with matching partial numbers on the latch, side plate, sear, safety components, trigger, front toggle link and breechblock. Checkered walnut grips and nickel plated magazine with the distinctive concentric rings on the wooden base. With a Loh. Sohne (Berlin) brown leather flap holster and a combination cleaning rod/ oiler.
