Cal. 30 Luger. S# 30971. Bbl. 4 3/4" with saw tooth (normally fin shaped) Nitre blued sight and full number plus very faint shield like DWM bbl. proof. Grip safety, no stock lug, strawed small parts and appropriate internal areas in the white. Safe with lever up and polished bright in lower position. "LOADED" extractor numbered "14". Parts numbered "71" are: sideplate, both toggles, breech block, sear, takedown latch, grip safety, trigger and both grips; left also with "V" and right with "4". American Eagle over chamber and no other proofs; "GERMANY" export marked below frame S#. MAGS: 2 nickel plated 8 rd. with wood bases; good with correct unmarked base and very good (chips on right dimple) with base marked "6501p", "+" plus unreadable proof near spine. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: good plus black flap holster with buckle and strap retention. Back marked with "Karl Bocker 1939 Waldbral" plus eagle party symbol over "WaA145". Front belt loop restitched at top and interior has black electrical tape on inside over the stitching. Good unmarked original appearing loading tool. CONDITION: very good overall appearance with light typical high point thinning and function wear. Very light peppery oxidation on sideplate and right frame ear. Very slight beginning gray tone in grip area. Good plus grips with hand worn diamond tops and small chip at mid point of right. Very good bore with hint of frosting. 22-4615/NW). CURIO. $2,000-3,000.
