America, early 19th century, pine. Dome-top box with centered green and red compass on cream ground. Decorative borders with heart surrounding escutcheon. Rosehead and square nails. Imperfections. 7 1/2"h. 17 3/4"w. 8 1/2"d.
Condition: 3" crack in top. crazing, and scuffs to finish. Solidly built.
