This is a rare copy of the catalog produced for the Texas Centennial Exhibition, the most comprehensive art showing ever displayed in Texas up until that time. Texas painting was showcased taking up three rooms; a corridor, and two studios in the basement. The remainder of the exhibition was a survey of art from the primitives through the present day contemporary art. Other galleries in the exhibition were as follows: Primitive Gallery, Renaissance, Eighteenth Century, French, International, Retrospective American, Contemporary American, Southwest Painting, Frederic Remington, George Bellows, Print Gallery, Watercolor Gallery, and Sculpture Court.

This Texas Centennial Exposition catalog was the personal copy of Frank Redlinger, who's block print, Back Lot, was chosen to be exhibited in the Texas Print section.
