Animated Disney Duck Display Including Huey, Dewey, Louis, Uncle Scrooge,
Donald, and Daisy that was manufactured in September of 1969 by Silvestri Art Mfg. of Chicago Silvestri Art was a custom manufacturer of Window Displays for Saks Fifth Ave, Macys and other retail storefront displays as well as Parade displays and Displays for Disney from the 1940’s to the 1970’s. All the ducks except for Dewey are animated by motors. It is assumed that it was originally produced for a parade float or storefront display for Disney It is assume that this is a “One off” display.In the fresh restoration everything was taken apart, the limbs were re attached, all ducks were repainted, they received new fur, all the mechanics and electrical was reworked and updated, a power bar with a remote-control start was added All the ducks received new custom-made clothing based on the original pieces that were there, the platform structure is mostly original with the floor being covered with new artificial grass and the front and 2 ends of the platform were clad with removable bamboo panels for mechanical access.Louis in Green is holding the restored Accordion and swings from side to side, Dewey in Blue is the only duck that is not animated and is static at his restored Bongo drums, Huey in Red swings his arm hitting the Base Drum, Donald and Daisy dance up, down and side to side activated when Uncle Scrooge moves his head in the forward motion. We understand there is international interest in many items and many collectors have UPS or international shipping accounts which do not include the packaging of the item. Therefore, we have arranged onsite packaging with a reputable company that will prepare the item for pick up and transport. For an approximate estimated cost, we have been quoted $300.00 for the packaging of tabletop slot machines and $500.00 for the packaging of upright slot machines and Juke Box.
Alternatively, if full service is required, which includes shipping, packaging, and transportation, we have partnered up with a customs brokerage that will come to our site, pick up the item(s) and take it to their facility in Vancouver whereby they will wrap it and ship it for transport. This option would require an account to be set up with the company but will be substantially a cost-efficient and convenient option as they manage all customs paperwork as well. Further, on larger and higher value items, we will extend the removal date of the item and work with you one-on-one to garner the best and most cost-effective way to get your item(s) to you.
