DIMINUTIVE MULE CHEST.
American, late 18th-early 19th century, poplar. Cut out feet, base and lid edge moldings, one dovetailed drawer, and lift top. Initials "HP" painted on back. Imperfections. 29 1/2"h. 30 1/2"w. 13"d.
Condition: Two-board top may be an old replacement, staple hinges are loose, and one end batten of lid is missing. Original turned drawer pulls.
