From the original Derby factory in England. It bears the crown and baton mark, used between 1782 and 1820. Measures: 3 1/2" high. Baluster shaped vase with elongated neck and small round foot. Gilt decoration and borders. Front is covered with an oval, handpainted in very fine detail. The scene shows a small farmhouse or barn with a red roof, standing amidst trees, mountains and a yellow corn field. Marks:underneath is handpainted with the red crown and baton mark. Condition:good condition. The enamel paint is in mint condition, showing the painted scene perfectly. There is wear to the gold trim, especially the top, ridged rim.
