DECORATED BLANKET CHEST WITH FRAKTUR.
Pennsylvania, early 19th century, pine. Turned feet and applied base and lid edge moldings are red. Wide single boards and dovetailed case. Original blue sponging on a white ground. Fraktur is pen and ink and watercolor floral design bordering a printed "Haus Sagen" (house blessing). Interior till and wrought iron strap hinges, lock is missing. 26 1/2"h. 23 1/2" w. 23 1/2"d.
