We are having a "loss recovery auction" this Sunday - along with our regular auction lots - several lots that we sold last
week are going to be resold.....
If you were here at the auction last week you will remember an elderly lady that made purchases in the excess of $7000.00.
When we asked for payment and she said that she would only have $1075.00 by Friday and more on the 31st but she would not
have the full amount. We thus have had to cancel her purchases as she knew when she registered for a bidding card that
payment was supposed to be by Sunday at the end of the sale (before she left). By doing this we now have over 30
consignors not having their items sold and paid for and not be able to have money for Christmas.
While we are taking legal action against her - we have been advised by our lawyers the lots still must be sold again.
Therefore we will be selling them this Sunday (Dec.21st).
If you were bidding on an item and did not win it you might just have been out bid by her...as we understand that you could
have purchased it and paid on time etc. we have to be able to give consideration to you for your effort and ask that you
please try again.....
We will be posting the lots early online - along with other lots aswell that will be auctioned on Sunday - so please check
and see what is there........

REMEMBER TO REGISTER EARLY SO WE HAVE TIME TO APPROVE YOU TO BID - IF YOU WAIT TILL SUNDAY DELAYS MAY PREVENT YOU FROM BIDDING....
items are posted with start bids - these are general amounts to start the bidding - We are going to be having a $5 start price on all the online lots - this does not necessarily mean the lots will be selling for $5 - it just means that you will have the opportunity to bid as low as $5. If you are really wanting the lot, and want to bid more than the start price you will have to increase the bid amount to the highest amount you want to pay. The computer will start you at the $5 amount and if anyone bids higher, the computer will automatically increase your bid to a higher amount until your top price is used. If anyone bids higher than your highest amount, and you still want the lot, you will have to post a higher amount you want to pay or attend Sunday's live auction (either online or in house).
During the Sunday live auction - if the auctioneer in house only goes down to (example) $100 and we have no bids at the $100 or more (only one at $5 or $20 etc) the lot will be passed up and either sold the next week or returned to the consignor.......the live auctioneer has the final says as to if an items is sold or not.
Example - If you know the lot is a new couch, it is understandable that the auctioneer will not be going as low as $5 during the auction, thus if you want it you will have to bid higher...... - see terms and conditions for more info about this and other items.......
