The manuscript annotations are interesting contemporary comments on the back including "The only true Greenback," "Redeemable at par in Gold," and "Good as Gold," with the latter two comments undeniably true, as notes of this issue were indeed redeemable in gold. <BR><I>From The Thomas M.
