<B>DC-22a $2 1914 </B></I><BR> This issue replaced the 1897 Prince of Wales issue. The new design continued the tradition of placing the portraits of the Governor General and his lady on notes of this denomination, with the Duke and Dutchess of Connaught appearing on the face of the new note. While easy enough to find in low grade, examples of this issue are difficult to obtain in grades higher than Very Fine. This example has been graded <B>Choice Very Fine 35 </B></I>by PMG, a grade which appears conservative in the extreme.<BR><I>From The Thomas M.
