DC-16 $4 1900
A beautiful example which may well be the finest $4 note we have ever handled. There is a bit of light handling, but this note is fully uncirculated and as bright as the day it left the press. The portraits on the front are of the Countess and Earl of Minto, the central vignette the locks of the Sault Ste. Marie canal, which links Lakes Superior and Huron. Through an error, the American side of the locks was pictured, an error that was corrected on the 1902 issue. Lovely Choice Crisp Uncirculated, a wonderful example of this most sought after note.
From The Thomas M. Flynn Collection

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
