ESTC locates five copies of this edition : C(2), Du / CaOHM, PU. Not on-line in D or Dt. Jervis (1766–1830), writer, eldest son of John Jervis-White, of Bally Ellis, co. Wexford, a barrister. Educated at Dublin University, graduating BA before becoming a barrister and LLD. He was deeply committed to the British cause in Ireland during the wars with revolutionary France. His services were rewarded by a special royal licence, which enabled him to assume the additional surname of Jervis and by a baronetcy for raising and equipping at his own cost a corps of volunteers (ODNB).(2) COMMERCIAL PROPOSITIONS. First published in 1789 as ’The present national embarrassment considered’. "This Pamphlet is again offered to the Public, with considerable altrerations … A Postscript has been added, containing an explanation of the rights of the Heir apparent …" – Advert. "In 1789 he used his authority as a constitutional expert to write [this] commentary on the regency question.
