A wonderful hand typed dispatch from London Daily Mirror correspondent David Walker. He was imbedded with the US Ninth Army as they pushed across Germany headed for Berlin. This cable is dated "30.11.44" and describes there location as the village of Ederen, Germany near Linnich and the Roer River. He describes the shelling from German Artillery and the evacuation of civilians from towns about to be bombed by allied forces. A great piece of history from a well known British war correspondent. Condition is very good with small folds to corners and upper left corner missing small piece.
