David was born in San Diego, CA. When his
father left the Navy, the family settled in Salt Lake
City, Utah in 1957. He moved to Tahoe, CA, in
1986 and to Ennis, MT, in 1989. He has had articles
written up in Western Horseman, Art of the West,
and Southwest Art Magazine. Cowboy and Indians
Magazine featured a life-size bronze of his "Summer
Wind" which was displayed at a house in Jackson,
Wyoming. He was a member of the American Indian
and Cowboy Artists, where his work was shown at
the Autry Museum. His studio is currently located
in Ennis, where David is working on a couple of
life-size bronzes. One is a 6 foot tall statue of a
cowboy called "Workin' for the Brand", and he is
starting another life-size of an Indian for a private
commission.
