A.L.S., 2pp. 12mo., [n.p., n.d. "<i>Sunday Morning</i>"] to Mr. Eliot regarding an upcoming dinner. In part: "<i>...Two or three friends from Mass[achusetts], with Tariff ideas in their heads, arrived last night, & will dine with me today, at 3 o'clock - for a plain family dinner. Will you...be so kind as to join me...</i>". Handsomely matted and framed, attached to a matted and framed back piece with a biographical plaque and an image of Webster. Usual folds, otherwise very good condition. Not examined out of frame.<b>$150-250</b>
