SALVADOR DALI<BR>1904 - Figueras - 1989 <BR><BR>Couple - Erotique N.1 - Circa 1970<BR>Original Stamped Signed Pencil Drawing<BR><BR>Title : Couple - Erotique N.1 <BR><BR>Technique : Original pencil drawing on paper. <BR><BR>Paper size :15 X 7 cm / 5.9 X 2.8 inch. <BR><BR>Additional Information : This work is an ORIGINAL pencil drawing by Salvador Dali.<BR>It is stamped signed twice with the Collection Perrot Moore ink stamp, first in the lower part of the drawing and again in the back side.<BR>This drawing belonged to the Perrot Moore collection which was the worlds largest private collection of original Dali works.<BR>The collection was displayed in the Perrot-Moore Museum in Cadaques, Spain.<BR>The owner of the collection was John Peter Moore , who was a former British Army captain who worked for Salvador Dali from 1960 till 1975 and was a close friend of both Dali himself and his wife Gala.<BR>John Moore, i.e "Le Capitaine" first met Dall in 1956 when he was working with film producer and director Alexander Korda in Rome.<BR>The two became friends. In 1960 Dali employed Moore as his personal secretary and, from 1965, as his business manager. <BR>Together with Dali's wife, Gala, they traveled regularly to New York for the winter, Paris for the spring, and Cadaqus, in northern Spain, for the summer.<BR>The work is accompanied with a photo certificate of authenticity from Mr. Robert P. Descharnes who is the only worldwide expert of Dali works.<BR>Mr. Descharnes was entrusted by Dali with the administration of his intellectual property rights, and is the sole authority to issue certificate of authenticity concerning Dali's works.<BR>The certificate includes two photos of the work, a detailed description, the Dali Archives reference and is hand signed by both Robert Descharnes and by the administrator of the Dali Archives, Mr. Nicolas Descharnes. <BR><BR>Provenance :1.
