(DACHAU CONCENTRATION CAMP LETTERS)
"An interesting group of three letters, each over 3pp. 8vo., on official Dachau Concentration Camp stationery, written by Aubau Natenek, prisoner number 13489, residing in Dachau subcamp 3, Block 18/2. The letters were sent to Faiska Natenek in Krakau, Poland (General Government District), concerning his health and other matters, as well as his concern for the wellbeing of his family. What is particularly interesting about these letters is that they were written more than two years apart, with the first letter written in July of 1941 and the last in September of 1943. All three letters, though highly personal and candid in content, bear official camp censor markings. Judging by his low prisoner number and his name, Nantenek was likely a political prisoner and not a Jew, which would also explain his continued survival in Dachau for at least two years. All the letters are without their original stamps, otherwise overall in good to very good condition." 2223 An interesting group of three letters, each over 3pp. 8vo., on official Dachau Concentration Camp stationery, written by Aubau Natenek, prisoner number 13489, residing in Dachau subcamp 3, Block 18/2.
