Natural Czech Moldavites, rough gemstones,wrapped in brass cones, dangle from triangular-shaped sterling silver posts, inset with rough Herkimer diamonds to form modern, abstract drop dangle earrings. 1 3/4" L. 5.8 grams weight, gemstones & silver. Stamped 925 on back of posts.  Moldavite (Czech: Vltavin) is a type of tektite that comes in colors of forest green, olive green or blue-greenish vitreous silica projectile rock, nicknamed “The Stone of Transformation†and is thought to have been created from a meteorite that crash-landed to Earth 14.8 million years ago in the present-day Czech Republic, more specifically, the Bohemian Plateau. Â
