Czech CZ 52 7.62 Tokarev & Armorers Case
Available for bidding on this lot is a 1953 Czech CZ 52 chambered in 7.62x25mm. The CZ 52 pistol is a roller-locked short recoil–operated, detachable box magazine–fed, single-action, semi-automatic pistol chambered for the 7.62×25mm Tokarev cartridge (the gun was originally designed for 9×19mm Parabellum caliber but due to political pressures had to be redesigned for the then-standard Soviet pistol cartridge). It weighs approximately two pounds unloaded. Military models feature either a parkerized finish or a gray oxide coating. This firearm also includes an extra magazine and a period correct armorers case, which includes spare parts such as a barrel, grips, firing pins, etc... The pistol is marked on the barrel with "V 12897", underneath that on the right side of the frame, you can see "VOP 91", "CZECH 7.62 TOK" as well as the proof house mark followed by "53". The pistol is also marked on the left side of the frame with "V 12897 - rid". All in all, this historical military issue firearm shows good condition, minus one scratch on the left side of the slide, other than that, the pistol is in very good shape for its age. This Curio Relic piece still requires FFL transfer or NICS background check. Serial Number: V 12897. Barrel length is 4.75", the armorers case that come with the firearm measures 14 7/8" long, and 7 1/8" tall.
