Hand painted porcelain figurine by Cybis depicting Priscilla Mullins, an early 17th century Englishwoman who traveled on the Mayflower in 1620. Born in 1602, Mullins survived the first winter in Plymouth Colony despite losing her entire family, later marrying John Alden in the colony's third recorded marriage. This piece was issued in 1976 as part of Cybis's "Portraits in Porcelain" series, created for America's Bicentennial year, and is a declared edition limited to 500, with this example numbered 389. Detailed in muted pastel tones with a book in one hand and flowers in the other, the figure bears the Cybis logo stamped on the underside and is marked "Cybis 1976" with edition number on the edge.
