Custom handmade skinning knife marked “Byron Kehew, Maker, Nevada City, California”; approx. 9” overall with an approx. 4” blade, blonde tiger striped hardwood grips with brass oval guard; in excellent condition. The late Byron Kehew wasknown in the California Gold Country for his custom knives and was still plying his trade into his 90’s. His shop was an old cabin in his backyard where friends came to see what new styles the old knife maker was creating. Est.:$100-$200.
